Group therapy is the treatment of multiple clients at once by one or more therapist. It can be used to treat a variety of conditions including but not limited to emotional trauma, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

Ade Ahmed

Introducing our Psychotherapist, Ade is a clinical counsellor and a Registered Psychotherapist  and Relationship Coach at the Mental Health Unit. She holds a Master Degree in Counselling Psychology and Certified Clinician in REBT, CBT and Emotion Focus Therapy. She also a Faculty member of Centre for Rational and Cognitive Therapies, teaches, mentors and supervises graduating Masters degree students for College registration and completion of degree. She has years of experience working with all age group in mental health and relationship issues.

Areas of practice include: Mood disorders, Anger/Emotion regulation, Grief & Loss, Relationship breakdown,  Marital issues, Anxiety, Loneliness, Trauma, Return to Work issues. Other areas of special clinical interest include Conflict Management (Life/Work/Family), Burnout, Coaching (Life/Work). I have had the privilege of serving as a Practice and Clinic Manager, where I oversaw the operations of family medicine and psychiatric practices. This role allowed me to gain a deep understanding of the complexities involved in providing holistic care to individuals and families. My expertise extends to clinical neurophysiology and neurology, which enriches my ability to address the intricate connections between mental health and neurological conditions.

Felix Oyinlola

My name is Felix, and I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists in Ontario. I am a doctoral candidate in Counselling and Psychological Studies. I had my Master’s in Counselling, Psychotherapy, and Spirituality. I have more than ten years of experience in Youth and Family counseling. My counseling experiences, education, and research give me more balanced insight into any psychological issues. I address every mental health issue with maturity, confidence, and expertise.

I specializes in integrating spirituality into my session regardless of your religious affiliation. I have had a lot of experience working with culturally sensitive clients. I am also a Cognitive therapist using client-focused and evidence-based interventions. I also use integrative approach with CBT, DBT, and REBT when necessary. I have a unique way of relating with my clients, making them want to return. I work with teenagers, young adults, adults, and older adults. I am comfortable working with clients with different orientations.
